On DJ Ayes Cold's dance floor, you're being watched

DJ Ayes Cold is one of DC's busiest selectors. 3 years into the craft, she has steadily created a unique presence in the District's music scene, performing at major venues like U Street Music Hall, the 930 Club, Rock and Roll Hotel, Merriweather Post Pavilion, Eighteenth Street Lounge, and more.

Ayes Cold considers herself a "genre-nonconforming" club and bass music DJ. From footwork and grime to dancehall house and hip hop, Ayes builds her reputation around her eclectic selections, her mixes that seamlessly blend varying tempos and genres, and her intuitive ability to read and respond to a crowd. As noted by the Washington Post, "her eyes are as sharp as her ears."

Ayes Cold has performed at parties in Boston (The Wave), New York (The Arena BK, Black Weirdo, Basement Bhangra), Atlanta (Bae), performed live on ABC7, and DJ'd at festivals like Bonnaroo, Trillectro, Broccoli City, The National Cannabis Festival, the Fields Festival, and SXSW.  Ayes has also opened for Gaslamp Killer, Tokimonsta, Princess Nokia, and supported line ups with Solange Knowles, Anderson Paak, Chance the Rapper and D.R.A.M.

Catch her as she launches her podcast 'Local Support' on Full Service Radio at The Line Hotel (DC) this fall.
